Create and share a payment link

Build a clear payment link, test the customer view and share the correct URL.

Last updated 2 August 2026

A payment link gives one product or service a focused route to checkout.

Selstack Create a link screen with Collect payment selected and a live preview.
Select Collect payment when the customer is ready to buy a defined offer.

Create the payment link

  1. Open Stack and select Create link.
  2. Choose Collect payment. Choose Lead + payment instead if customer details must be collected first.
  3. Enter a specific title and short description.
  4. Set the amount and currency shown by the editor.
  5. Add necessary questions, images and fulfilment information.
  6. Review the live preview and complete the publish controls when ready.

Test the link safely

Open the customer-facing link and verify the offer, amount, form and next-step message. Use only an approved sandbox or test method when testing a payment flow. Do not create an unintended live transaction.

Share the correct URL

Use the focused payment link when a customer has chosen the offer. Use your public Stack URL when they should browse several choices. Copy the URL from the current link rather than forwarding an old message that may contain an outdated version.

After sharing

Use Payments to confirm the recorded status. Do not treat a customer screenshot as proof. If the link changes, retest it and replace the URL anywhere it is saved.

Before launch: confirm price, availability, delivery timing, customer questions and what the buyer sees after payment.
