Understand currencies, fees and remittance

Read what the customer paid and what the merchant receives.

Selstack is a platform for creators and businesses to build a public selling page, share individual offers, accept supported payments and bookings, and manage the resulting orders and customer details. A “Stack” is a selling page. This guide explains the relevant workflow and the seller’s responsibilities; payment methods, account requirements and some features depend on the business configuration and plan.

A customer may pay in one supported currency while the seller wallet is credited in another. Selstack records both sides so conversion and fees remain understandable.

Follow the workflow

  1. Step 1: On the order, identify the original amount and currency shown to the customer.
  2. Check the payment costs: review the fee and any currency exchange shown for the payment. Use the current pricing page and the recorded checkout amounts rather than applying a remembered rate.
  3. Step 4: Use the recorded sale and wallet entries for reconciliation and support.

Take note of the business name, page, time and any non-sensitive reference or safe error message. Contact Selstack support without sending passwords, one-time codes, identity information, full bank details or card information.

Understand the global product and local account context

Selstack helps creators and businesses present offers, collect supported payments and manage customer relationships through shareable selling pages. Customers and sellers can be in different markets, but account, payout and payment availability still depend on the business’s supported configuration. A global product should explain those differences clearly rather than presenting one country’s banking procedure as the default for everyone. Use the account’s actual country, currency and supported options when deciding how a particular offer or payout arrangement should work.

Keep identity and business information accurate

The public profile helps customers recognise the seller, while account and business details support other platform requirements. Use accurate names and locations for their intended purpose. Do not enter a different country simply to unlock an option that the business is not eligible to use. A public address, a person’s residence and the country associated with the operating business can represent different facts. Review the appropriate settings rather than assuming that changing one visible profile field updates every payment or legal detail attached to the account.

Choose currencies around the actual offer

Selstack prices are chosen for individual links, and a business may need to consider what its intended customers can understand and pay. Display the currency clearly with the amount and review the checkout summary. The customer’s payment currency and the seller’s remittance or payout currency can differ under supported arrangements. Preserve those distinctions when reviewing records. Do not compare bare amounts across currencies, promise a universal conversion outcome or assume that support for international customers means every payment method is available in every market.

Review the current plan and feature limits

Free, Pro and Growth provide different publishing, team and operating capacity. Review the live pricing and billing information for the current account rather than relying on a figure copied from an older article. A plan upgrade is different from changing the profile between creator and business presentation. Optional Studio Credits are also separate from a subscription. Before starting work that depends on a feature or publishing slot, confirm what the account currently includes and what the customer-facing result will be.

Use the supported country-change workflow

Where a residence or business-country change is needed, open the dedicated country and relocation settings and review the available route. A residence-only change and a full business relocation have different purposes. Follow the destination checks and the explanation of what changes before completing the process. Do not rewrite old transactions to make them look as though they occurred under a new country or currency. Historical customer orders should remain traceable to the context in which they were processed.

Plan the customer-facing transition

Before a significant business change, review published offers, contact information, delivery areas, time zones and the terms customers will rely on. Identify which existing commitments must continue and who will answer questions during the transition. A physical-product business may need to revise shipping coverage; a service business may need to review available hours. Update the relevant public information accurately, but do not silently change what an existing customer has already bought. Keep the original order and the current offer distinct when explaining the situation.

Follow secure verification instructions

Use the designated secure fields for any verification information the account legitimately requires. Requirements can vary with the supported destination and payment arrangement. Do not copy identity numbers, complete bank details or security codes into a product description, public profile or ordinary customer enquiry form. If a requirement is unclear, ask about the named step and current account context through the established support route. A global guide can explain the workflow without publishing a local identity checklist as though it applies to every seller.

Test the updated public journey

After a confirmed settings change, inspect the relevant public pages while signed out. Check the seller identity, price currency, contact routes and any delivery or booking information affected by the change. Review the actual saved status rather than assuming that completing a form proves every related account process is finished. If a public page still appears wrong, confirm the active business and the exact URL before making repeated changes. Keep a concise record of what changed and what remains uncertain if support needs to investigate.

Keep global communication precise

Write customer instructions without assuming a particular local bank, identity document, holiday calendar or time zone. When a location-specific condition genuinely matters, explain it as a condition of that offer or account rather than a universal rule. Use clear dates, labelled currencies and realistic delivery expectations. Selstack’s global positioning is strongest when the product is described accurately: one connected selling workflow, with availability and account requirements stated honestly, and customer commitments that remain understandable across borders.
