Submit a Payout Account for the First Time

Follow the recorded status, amount and currency to complete the secure country-specific payout setup, using the bank-and-BVN form only for Nigerian NGN businesses without duplicating or silently converting financial activity.

Last updated 23 August 2026

This task affects financial records or the verified destination for merchant funds. This guide focuses on how to complete the secure country-specific payout setup, using the bank-and-BVN form only for Nigerian NGN businesses.

Use the flow for the payout country

Open Settings → Payments. Nigerian NGN businesses see the Selstack bank-and-BVN form; other supported countries use Set up payouts to continue through the regulated payout partner.

Complete the Nigerian NGN form

Enter legal first and last name, bank, 10-digit account number and confirm the resolved account name. Enter the account owner’s 11-digit BVN—not a NIN—in the protected field. Selstack sends it for verification and does not store it.

Complete another country’s setup

Follow the partner’s country-specific identity and bank requirements. Do not look for or submit a BVN unless the current Nigerian form requests it.

Wait for the recorded status

Nigerian submissions are locked while pending; most finish within five minutes, while extra checks can take up to 24 hours. Use the status shown for every other country.

Troubleshoot safely

Correct only the field identified by the safe reason. Never send a BVN, identity document, password, OTP or full bank details through ordinary email, chat or a support ticket.

Example: Submit a Payout Account for the First Time

A Nigerian NGN business uses legal names, a 10-digit bank account and 11-digit BVN; a UK business follows the regulated partner flow without a BVN field.

If Submit a Payout Account for the First Time is not working

If the account name does not resolve in Nigeria, recheck bank and account number before entering or resubmitting identity data.

Confirm the result

  • Every amount is read in its labelled currency.
  • The provider, order, wallet or withdrawal status supports the action taken.
  • No pending action was duplicated or silently converted.
  • Sensitive payout and identity data stayed inside protected fields.

When to ask Selstack for help

Contact official Selstack support when the saved result, status or resolved identity still conflicts with the intended record after one refresh. Include the business, page, time, safe reference and visible message. Do not include passwords, OTPs, recovery codes, full card details, BVN, NIN or unmasked bank documents.
