Create and Publish a Course

Create the course offer, set its learning outcome and open the course workspace before publishing it to learners.

Last updated 23 August 2026

Courses have a public sales journey and a private learner portal. Prepare both before making the course available.

Complete Create and Publish a Course

  1. 1. Open Courses in the sidebar and choose Create course.
  2. 2. Enter a specific course title, a short description, the intended learner and the result they should achieve.
  3. 3. Set the price and currency for the main course offer. Keep it as a draft while the curriculum is incomplete.
  4. 4. Open the new course workspace. Use Overview to review course readiness and the live learner-portal preview.
  5. 5. Add at least one module and one complete lesson in Curriculum, then review the offer and portal design.
  6. 6. Publish only when the public description, price, access promise and actual lessons agree.

Confirm the result

The course appears in Courses with the intended status, its public offer opens while signed out and an enrolled learner can reach the branded portal. Free can publish one course, Pro five and Growth unlimited courses.

If something is wrong

If publishing is blocked, read the readiness and plan message. Complete the missing curriculum or unpublish another course instead of deleting learner records. If the public offer is wrong, correct it in Offers and test again while signed out.

Keep it safe: Use the signed-in Selstack record and a non-sensitive reference when asking for help. Never send a password, one-time code, full card number, BVN or unmasked bank document.
