Create and Publish a Ticketed Event

Create the event sales page, set ticket rules and test the attendee pass before opening sales.

Last updated 23 August 2026

An event should answer the guest’s practical questions before collecting payment and give the organiser a dependable attendee and check-in record afterwards.

Complete Create and Publish a Ticketed Event

  1. 1. Open Events and choose Create event. Enter the event name, description, ticket price and checkout currency.
  2. 2. Upload a current poster and, if useful, add one public video link that explains the experience.
  3. 3. Set the start and end in the city time zone where the event takes place. Add a sales-close time when tickets should stop before the event.
  4. 4. Set the venue, address and optional ticket capacity. Add the exact Google Maps place rather than relying on an ambiguous typed address.
  5. 5. Review status and Discover visibility. Ticket selling follows the plan and availability message shown in the workspace.
  6. 6. Publish, complete a safe purchase and inspect the QR pass and attendee record before sending real traffic.

Confirm the result

The signed-out event page shows the correct poster, local date, time zone, venue, price and availability. The paid test creates one attendee and a QR pass that the event dashboard can check in once.

If something is wrong

If the page shows the wrong time, correct the event time zone before changing the clock values. If sales are unavailable, review status, capacity, closing time and plan access. Never count a payment screenshot as a ticket.

Keep it safe: Use the signed-in Selstack record and a non-sensitive reference when asking for help. Never send a password, one-time code, full card number, BVN or unmasked bank document.
