Manage team access and account security

Update personal details and passwords, then give workspace access only through supported team controls.

Last updated 2 August 2026

Each person should use their own account where supported. Sharing one password makes it difficult to protect access or understand who changed something.

Account settings contains personal details and password controls.

Update your password

  1. Open Settings → Account.
  2. Scroll to the Password section.
  3. Enter the current password where requested.
  4. Create a long, unique new password and confirm it.
  5. Save the change and update your password manager.

Manage team access

Open Team from the workspace navigation when that feature is available on your plan. Invite people using the supported team flow and give only the level of access needed for their work. If Team opens billing information, review the displayed plan availability before making changes.

Remove access promptly

When someone no longer needs the workspace, remove their team access rather than relying on a verbal request not to sign in. Review team membership periodically and keep the business owner’s recovery email current.

Respond to suspicious activity

  1. Change the password from a trusted device.
  2. Review account and team settings.
  3. Check payment, contact and campaign activity for unexpected changes.
  4. Contact official support with timestamps and non-sensitive references.

Never share: your password, one-time code, full card details or secret payment credentials. Selstack support should not need them to investigate an account issue.
