Display name is the public identity customers read; username determines the public Stack address and must be unique.
Steps for Change your display name or username
- Step 1: Open Settings → Stack profile and confirm the active business.
- Step 2: Edit the display name and username using accurate, recognisable wording.
- Step 3: Save the profile and refresh the public Stack to verify the changes.
- Step 4: If the username changed, update bios, campaigns and saved messages that use the old public URL.

Test the new URL while signed out before removing the old address from your records.
Important: Changing a username can break previously shared links if no redirect is available.
