This task changes what a customer sees or can buy on a public Selstack journey. This guide focuses on how to package service scope, turnaround, preparation and the post-payment hand-off.
Choose Service in Create Stack
Use Service when the customer is paying for defined expertise or work. Payment link is for one focused charge without a product- or service-specific delivery promise.
Describe the delivery boundary
Enter the outcome, included work, turnaround, revisions and anything the customer must provide. Choose Free or Fixed amount; Customer decides is available only on Pro.
Choose what follows payment
Select Service when the work continues outside checkout, or Book appointment when the paid customer must choose a time. Configure availability in Appointments before publishing a booking hand-off.
Preview the hand-off
Check the live preview, customer fields, success message and After success action. A preview confirms layout; it does not prove a payment or booking succeeded.
Troubleshoot a missing booking step
Confirm Book appointment is selected under What happens after payment and that an active appointment type or availability exists. Do not tell buyers they can book until the public journey shows it.
Example: Create a Service Payment Link
A £75 portfolio review can state one review, a written summary and five working days, then hand the buyer to a booking step if a meeting is included.
If Create a Service Payment Link is not working
If the public button or next step is wrong, review the action type, fulfilment and After success settings together.
Confirm the result
- Title, media, price, currency, fields and fulfilment details describe the same offer.
- The selected access and delivery options match what happens next.
- The signed-out mobile page shows the complete action without clipping.
- Only a ready, available offer is public.
When to ask Selstack for help
Contact official Selstack support when the saved result, status or resolved identity still conflicts with the intended record after one refresh. Include the business, page, time, safe reference and visible message. Do not include passwords, OTPs, recovery codes, full card details, BVN, NIN or unmasked bank documents.
