Use a lead-capture form when the visitor should enquire, apply, join a list or share context before another action.

Create the form
- Open the forms area and choose to create a new form.
- Enter an internal form name that your team will recognise.
- Select a theme and customise colours if needed.
- Write a short description explaining why the visitor should respond and what happens next.
- Add fields for the smallest useful set of details.
- Review the completion message and publish controls.
Choose better questions
Use one question per decision. “What would you like help with?” is more useful than “Tell us everything.” Make required fields genuinely necessary and give clear choices where a fixed list will improve accuracy.
Test as a visitor
- Open the public form on a phone.
- Submit realistic non-sensitive test details.
- Confirm that the completion message is accurate.
- Check that the entry appears in the expected Contacts or lead workflow.
- Remove or label test data according to your local review process.
Handle data responsibly
Explain the intended follow-up and collect only what you need. Do not use a general lead form for passwords, card details, identity documents or special-category personal information without an approved secure process.
Conversion tip: shorten the form before adding more promotion. Every field should earn its place.
