How to Create a Simple Online Store for Your Business

Build a focused storefront that helps customers understand your offers, choose confidently and take action.

A good online store is not the one with the most pages. It is the one that helps a customer quickly answer three questions: Is this for me? What will I get? What should I do next?

Selstack lets you create focused links for the things you sell and bring those links together on your public Stack. That makes it suitable for physical products, digital downloads, services, consultations, events and lead-generation offers.

Plan the store before adding links

List the offers you want to show, then choose the two or three that matter most. Group similar offers and remove duplicates. A smaller, well-ordered selection often feels more trustworthy than a crowded page.

For each offer, prepare a title, short description, price or collection method, a strong image and the information needed to fulfil it.

Create each offer as a focused link

From Stack, choose Create link. Select whether you want to collect a payment, a lead, or both. Give the link a specific purpose and write the description around the customer outcome rather than your internal process.

For example, “60-minute portfolio review with written next steps” is clearer than “Consultation package.” Clear titles help customers compare offers without opening every item.

Make the public Stack feel coherent

Open Settings → Stack profile to choose whether the page represents a creator or a business. Add a recognisable display name, username, profile image or logo, and a concise introduction. Use consistent images and writing across your links.

Arrange the customer journey

Place the easiest starting offer near the top, followed by core products or services and then higher-commitment options. If you collect leads, explain why you need the details and what the visitor can expect after submitting.

Test before sharing

  1. Open the public Stack on a phone.
  2. Check every title, price and image.
  3. Open each link and review the form.
  4. Confirm the next-step message is accurate.
  5. Ask someone unfamiliar with the business to explain what they think you sell.

Keep it current: unpublish or update links that are unavailable. A short current storefront is more useful than a large outdated one.

Once the experience is clear, share the public Stack anywhere customers discover you. You now have one destination that can grow as the business grows.
