Choose the correct relocation path
A residence-only change updates the verified country used for personal location decisions while the existing business remains in its legal and payout country. A full business relocation creates a private destination workspace so legal country, payout currency and future operations can change together.
Verify the new country
Country changes require the guided verification route. Selstack records an immutable verification history and does not infer a signed-in user’s country from a VPN, browser locale or temporary travel.
Move drafts, not financial history
Eligible draft Stacks and forms, course structure, events, Studio projects and owned templates can be copied into the destination workspace. Orders, customers, attendees, enrolments, balances, payout credentials, disputes and tax or financial history stay with the original workspace.
Wait for a safe cutover
Running Studio jobs, pending balances, holds, refunds or disputes can block the move. The destination remains private until readiness and administrative verification are complete. International payout setup follows the protected partner flow; a move into Nigeria completes the existing bank and BVN verification after cutover before withdrawals unlock.
Keep both records understandable
The old workspace remains as legacy financial history, while the new workspace becomes the home for future activity. Unused purchased Studio credit lots can transfer without losing their purchase attribution, and relocation does not create a second welcome-credit grant.
