See how Selstack handles the customer checkout amount, confirmed order, merchant wallet, pending balance and verified payout destination, where the boundaries sit and what records support a clear view of how a completed customer payment becomes eligible merchant funds.

This article documents the named Selstack capability, its boundaries and the records a reader can use to verify what happened. It does not assume every control is available to every account.

What the customer sees at checkout

The public offer shows its price and currency before the customer confirms payment. Where another supported display currency is available, the checkout keeps the original order and recorded merchant amount distinct instead of pretending both numbers use the same currency.

When an order is ready to act on

After payment, the customer receives the recorded result and the merchant sees the order in Payments. Fulfil only from a successful Selstack order. A screenshot or bank alert can help describe a problem, but it is not the status that authorises delivery or a second charge.

Why wallet funds can remain pending

Eligible revenue can appear in the pending or ledger balance during the displayed hold. It becomes available only after release. Pending is not withdrawable, and the wallet should not be described as profit because refunds, operating costs and tax can still matter.

What the merchant needs to complete

The business country, wallet currency and payout destination must be correct. Nigerian NGN businesses use the protected bank and BVN verification flow; other supported countries use the regulated payout partner route shown in Settings.

How to investigate a customer payment

Start with the order reference and compare the customer amount, currency, visible fee or remittance, wallet movement and current status. If those customer-facing records do not reconcile, keep the safe reference and contact official support rather than creating another payment or manual conversion.

Put Inside Selstack Managed Payments into practice

A customer can pay in one supported currency while the merchant’s recorded remittance and Wallet remain in the configured business currency.

If Inside Selstack Managed Payments breaks down

If order, fee, remittance and Wallet entries do not align, preserve the reference and escalate rather than applying a silent manual conversion.
